Peninsular Contract Awarded To Acs Group

THE ACS Group has been awarded the street cleaning, maintenance and security contract for the Peninsular town centres of Woy Woy, Umina Beach and Ettalong Beach.
The yearly Gosford City Council contract was awarded following a public tendering process, Cr Debra Wales said.
"Street cleaning, maintenance and security in our towns is absolutely essential so as to ensure long term viability of our retail centres," Cr Wales said.
The ACS Group were awarded the contract following a public tendering process. The contract includes public area maintenance, security and safety services within the Peninsula CBD's similar to those undertaken in the Gosford town centre.
The contract will commence in March for 12 months, and could be extended by two further periods of 12 months subject to performance and safety reviews.
Part of their duties will include the policing of bikes on footpaths and in the main streets.
