CITYRAIL is running special trains for participants travelling with their bicycles. Normal services can only carry a small number of bikes, so riders should use these special trains where possible.

For participants travelling to start the event at St Peters, a special service will depart Wollongong at 5.45am, arriving at St Peters station at 7.20am.

All Illawarra Line trains (both directions) between 5.30am and 8am will stop at St Peters station to allow participants to alight with their bikes.

After the event, regular services will depart Wollongong station, stopping at North Wollongong, Thirroul, Stanwell Park, Otford, Heathcote, Sutherland, Hurstville, St Peters and Central.

To cater for the extra services required for the ride, buses will replace trains between Wollongong and Port Kembla between 11.30am and 5pm.

For full details of services and conditions of travel with bikes, visit www.cityrail.info.
